Vishal Sharma is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. He is currently working at Verse, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of the company's clients. Vishal is also currently associated with Dailyhunt/Josh (Versé Innovation Pvt Ltd) as an Engineer. Prior to his current role, Vishal worked as a Technology Consultant at PwC, where he was part of the Emerging Technology team. He also worked as a Data Science Intern at EY, where he developed an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Software Program for capturing data from Tabular Invoices/Contracts (Scanned PDFs) and storing it in the database (Excel/SQL database) while retaining the structure of the original Invoice/Contract using Google's Tesseract. He also performed rule-based analytics for various clients, created client's data visualizations in Tableau, and developed a software program that automated the entire process of validating the format of client's GST data in the Indian Government provided GST Offline Utility Tool and generating error reports (if any) for GST filing. Vishal holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Physics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
