Vishal Singh is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer with a passion for software design and development. Currently pursuing an MS degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Systems from Stony Brook University, Vishal is set to graduate in December 2022. He is actively seeking full-time SDE opportunities from December 2022. Vishal completed his undergraduate studies at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, with a BTech degree in Computer Science. He has 3.78 years of relevant work experience, including three years as a Senior Software Engineer in the Products and Ecosystem group of Samsung Research and Development Institute, Bangalore. During his time at Samsung, Vishal worked on complex modules related to platform and product security, gaining proficiency in object-oriented programming, Linux systems, and AGILE software development lifecycle. Currently, Vishal is looking for SDE internship opportunities for Summer 2022. His interests and specializations are in backend systems and platform security. He has a strong tech stack that includes software engineering, research, mobile, RabbitMQ, JavaScript, integration, backend, web, NodeJS, Java, and C. Vishal's past companies include Samsung, where he worked as a Software Engineer in Tizen Security and as a Research Intern in the Intelligent Services department under the Bixby team. He also designed and developed the security analysis web platform used by Samsung Research Centers in security analysis of Galaxy watch applications. He leveraged asynchronous message broker RabbitMQ to handle concurrent requests and facilitated monitoring functionalities to get runtime status of each request. Additionally, Vishal developed a certificate-enrollment module using OpenSSL, Curl, and GNU parallel utilities, which was employed in signing certificates for over 200,000 latest Samsung 5G Routers. Vishal's ultimate goal is to become a software architect by leading and contributing to some of the most successful software products. With his strong technical skills, relevant experience, and passion for software development, he is well-positioned to make significant contributions to any organization he joins.
