Vishal Singh is a seasoned Data Science Consultant with over 6 years of experience in the field. He is currently working with Accenture Strategy & Consulting as a Data Scientist, where he is responsible for managing, monitoring, and coordinating fraud risk management projects for UPI, Rupay, and NFS. Vishal is adept in analyzing financial data and modus operandi for different types of fraud prevalent in the UPI industry. He has extensive experience in ML product development life cycle from data gathering to product deployment. Prior to joining Accenture, Vishal worked with the National Payments Corporation of India as a Lead Data Scientist. He handled massive skewed datasets and analyzed and processed POS and ECom datasets of Rupay credit card. Vishal designed overall workflow comprising validations, pre-filter, post-filter, riskscore for online models, and conceptualized and coordinated real-time model architecture with relevant teams. Vishal has also worked with Alvarez & Marsal as a Data Analyst, where he performed transaction analytics in an investment situation, identified avenues to increase monthly sales, and discovered key operational loss areas for an online travel booking aggregator using clustering. He provided Web data analyses and social discussions on the company's profile and its key assets to ensure information reaches the client in real-time to minimize potential reputation risk with the help of a tool. Vishal holds a PGDBA degree in Business Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from PES University.
