Vishal Soni is a senior undergraduate in the field of Computer Science and Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. He is a highly skilled software engineer with a relevant experience of 0.86 years. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer Intern at Strand Life Sciences, where he has optimized the rare disease shortlisting algorithm to obtain O(Nodes) number of questions to just nearly 20+ questions using an additional semantic of disease incidence rate. He has also built the server with Flask-RESTful APIs and MySQL from the ground up to support 7 APIs with a scalable filesystem. Vishal has implemented the ReactJS frontend client using Material UI and a Redux centralization architecture in JavaScript. In his previous roles, Vishal has worked as an Industrial Project Coordinator and Council Member, Industrial Relations and Projects Council, at Industry Relations and Project Council. He has mentored a team of 9 to negotiate with 60+ companies for offering 20+ industrial projects for 1800 students at IITGN. He has actively contacted companies for industrial projects and negotiated for the final prize. Vishal has secured a record highest monetary reward agreement from two companies on project completion. He has also planned a series of webinars and events to help make the IITGN community industry-ready. Vishal has completed his Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, which he will complete in 2023. He has completed his schooling from Anand Niketan Shilaj in 2017. Vishal is proficient in Software Engineering, ReactJS, Javascript, MySQL, Redux, Flask, UI, and Frontend. He is a highly motivated and skilled individual with a passion for software engineering and a desire to learn and grow.
