Vishal Thakral is a highly skilled Design Verification Engineer with 2.35 years of experience in frontend VLSI. He is currently working at Intel and has previously worked at Cadence Design Systems and Mentor Graphics. Vishal is a gold medalist in BTech (ECE) from NIT Kurukshetra, 2016-20 batch. Vishal has a strong foundation in VLSI skills such as Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog, UVM (basic), Perl, Bash/Csh, and tools like Xcelium, JasperGold, Genus, Modus, LEC, Xilinx ISE, QuestaSim, and ModelSim. He also has expertise in core areas such as Digital Electronics, Computer Arch, and Operating system. Additionally, Vishal possesses programming skills in Data Structures, Algorithms, C, C++, OOPS, Python, and MongoDB. He is well-versed in RTL to GDS flow and verification plan. Vishal has received several accolades for his exceptional performance in his previous roles. He received the Catalyst Award for training and bringing new hires to speed efficiently in the least amount of time and was the top performer in his team at Cadence. At Mentor Graphics, he was the best performer in the System design and Verification training program and earned a Certificate of Appreciation. During his internship at Mentor Graphics, Vishal developed a layered coverage driven test bench for LC3 microprocessor verification. Vishal holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra and completed his XII from Arya Bal Bharti Public School, Panipat.
