Vishal Trivedi is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Mentor Graphics, with over 6 years of relevant experience in software engineering, deep learning, and recommendation systems. He is currently pursuing an Integrated MSc course in Mathematics and Computing at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where he is in his fifth year of undergraduate studies. Vishal is a proactive and dedicated individual who takes on leadership roles with ease. He serves as a Mentor in the Student Mentorship Programme, where he guides and enlightens a group of junior students, helping them to overcome academic and non-academic hurdles. He is also a former member of Awaaz, IIT Kharagpur, where he reported on events taking place on campus. Prior to his current role at Mentor Graphics, Vishal worked as a Member of Technical Staff at the same company, where he gained valuable experience in software engineering. He also worked as a Project Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where he was involved in restoring an image from a collection of blurred images. During this project, he reduced rectangular matrices of images to continuous polynomials of higher degrees and implemented various optimization techniques to obtain the enhanced deblurred image. Vishal's education history includes an Integrated MSc in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, which he is due to complete in 2017. He also attended St. Francis Xavier's Inter College, Kanpur, from 1997 to 2011. Overall, Vishal is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for software engineering and deep learning.
