Vishesh Gupta is an Infrastructure Engineer at Clear Street with a passion for Computer Science. He enjoys applying mathematical concepts to his unique way of thinking and creating something creative out of it. He is always willing to try out new methods and grow from his failures. Currently, Vishesh works as a Web Developer, Co-op at zappel, where he wrote the front end using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and integrated Material UI. He also automated scripts to handle social pages using Selenium and C# for marketing and promoting the organization. Additionally, he performed Unit, Integration and End-to-End testing on their android application for social hyperlinking. Prior to his current role, Vishesh worked as an Application Programmer Analyst, Co-op at Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. Here, he migrated AngularJS Code to Angular 6 and enhanced the backend for a faster and smoother grants application experience. He also optimized web pages to load 1.35x faster and made accessibility-specific requirements for differently-abled individuals to use the platform. Moreover, he generated XML forms using Oracle Siebel CRM for direct upload to the database fastened by 20% for different ministries and grant schemes. Furthermore, Vishesh has experience working as a Software, Embedded and Electrical Sub Team member at Waterloop. He engineered a battery management system to connect to their PCB to route energy efficiently to their competition prototype pod. Additionally, he contributed towards the RPi and Arduino – Slave & Master system – in C++ and CANBUS module packet managing for the software team. Vishesh holds a Bachelor of Computer Science, Co-op, Honours from the University of Waterloo. He also has a Developer Certificate from Free Code Camp and completed his high school education from Apeejay School. Vishesh's technical skills include infra, software engineering, Terraform, senior software engineering, Golang, Docker, backend, MySQL, and Redux. He has 2.86 years of relevant experience.
