Vishesh Kashyap is an accomplished Design Engineer Trainee at Boston Scientific, with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering. He has a proven track record of 3.28 years in the field of Research Science, having worked with a diverse range of organizations such as Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE). During his time at Delhi Technological University, Vishesh worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in the CFD Research Group, where he analyzed the impact of strut spacing, thickness, and lumen protrusion in a commercial stent geometry towards achieving minimization of adverse WSS regions in idealized curved arteries. He was also involved in performing Computational Fluid Dynamic simulations for the Balawala Pumping Station of the Bisalpur Jaipur Water Supply Project for Kirloskar Brothers Limited. Vishesh's expertise in aerodynamics and drag reduction has been widely recognized. He modified the cladding and fender coverage of road bicycles to obtain a drag reduction of 5-12% and studied the effect of spherical depressions on hatchbacks, which resulted in a drag reduction of 5-7%. Additionally, he investigated the effects of splitter length on NASCAR aerodynamics, with a downforce increase of 7.3%. Vishesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE) and a High School degree from Delhi Public School.
