He is currently working at Amazon, where he is responsible for developing infrastructure to improve Speech Recognition for Shopping on Alexa. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Vishi has a proven track record of developing impactful products that enhance human lives. Vishi's interest in Machine Learning and Scalable Systems has led him to work with some of the biggest names in the tech industry. Prior to joining Amazon, he worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida, where he taught Math for Intelligent Systems (prereq to Machine Learning). He also worked as an Applications Engineer Intern at Google, where he conducted Machine Learning Research using Python, BigQuery & TensorFlow. His work involved data analysis of 1mil+ rows of data to identify features and trends, and implementation of initial regression models that can fit the data to forecast the periodic cash payments processed by Google. The work was published as a white paper for directing the future work. Vishi holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida and a M.Sc.(Tech.) in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
