Vishnu Beji is a highly skilled member of technical staff at Oracle DB with a background in electrical engineering. Despite his degree, Vishnu's coursework has focused on areas such as machine learning, graph theory, algorithms, time series analysis, and queueing theory. He has a strong understanding of the latest technologies and is an expert in software engineering, research science, NLP, search, deep learning, BERT, ML, infra, test, mobile, and CNN. Vishnu has gained valuable experience during his internships at Digital Innovations Lab, IIM Bangalore, and Samsung Research Institute. At Digital Innovations Lab, he worked on developing models to classify diabetic retinopathy grades with CNNs. At Samsung Research Institute, Vishnu optimized Bixby Search using probabilistic topic modelling and word embeddings. Vishnu is a recent graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where he secured a Bachelor of Technology degree in electrical engineering. He has a relevant experience of 2.95 years. Vishnu's current role at Oracle involves working on the development and design of a new cloud-optimized storage infrastructure for Oracle database utilizing NVM optimized data structures and storage media.
