Vishnu Priya is a highly motivated software professional with over 11 years of functional and system testing expertise. She is currently working as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle India Pvt Ltd, where she is responsible for testing MySQL servers, connectors, and other related products. Vishnu has a sound knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, sanity testing, acceptance testing, and validation testing. Vishnu has experience in API testing using console, CLI, and SDK using JUnit test framework. She has also developed and maintained different test suites like DbSystem, HeatWave, etc. She is responsible for understanding functional/technical specifications, developing test strategies, writing test plans, and automation of tests. At Oracle, Vishnu is involved in the quality assurance of MySQL servers, supported features through connectors, and CRUD operations. She is also responsible for the QA architecture of the feature worklogs and automating the regression test runs in CI tool like Jenkins. She has experience in API functional testing of MySQL Database Service in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and integration testing & system testing. Prior to Oracle, Vishnu worked as a System Software Engineer at IBM, where she was responsible for DB2 database administration, installation, upgrade, migration, backup & recovery, and data partitioning. She also worked extensively on High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) configuration and verification. Vishnu has also worked on PureScale environment, solving problematic issues at Database level and instance level. Before IBM, Vishnu worked as a Physical Design Engineer at LSI, where she was responsible for validation of Virage Memory Compilers and QA for 90nm and 45nm technologies by model simulation and circuit simulation. She also worked on physical design of layouts for the schematics of circuits created by design engineers using CADENCE Virtuoso tool. Vishnu holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani. She has a tech stack that includes test, Software Engineer, MySQL, qa, Integration, infra, Python, Java, Jenkins, and Web.
