Vishnu Vempati is an accomplished commercial and business development professional in the pharmaceutical industry. He currently serves as the Associate Director and Head of API Sales for India at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where he is responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic partnerships. Vishnu's career at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories spans over a decade, during which he has held several key positions. As the Associate Director of BD Licensing, he explored out-licensing opportunities in emerging markets and Europe, prepared and evaluated business cases for potential opportunities, and identified the best partners for market/therapy area combinations. He also focused on complex products such as oncology and injectables, and gained extensive exposure to regulatory requirements and IP landscapes in different markets across the globe. Prior to his current role, Vishnu served as the Associate Director of Business Analytics and Operations at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where he developed and implemented data-driven strategies to optimize business operations. Vishnu holds a Management Diploma (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, and a Certificate Program in Business Analytics from ISB, where he was a Gold Medalist.
