Vishnu Venu is an open source technologist with over 7 years of relevant experience in creating cloud native solutions and running them at scale. He is currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Vimeo, where he has contributed to the newly built Canary Setup on ArgoWorkflow and rewritten the Kubeguard service to enhance its functionality and testability. Prior to Vimeo, Vishnu worked as a DevOps Engineer at smallcase, where he built a metrics solution using Prometheus and Thanos, co-built an SSR application service for the Publisher team, managed and contributed to the Publisher Infrastructure, created an in-house project called Rekast to create a frontend preview environment, and designed and implemented a report generation infrastructure. He also worked as a DevOps Engineer at Agile Parking Solutions Private Limited, where he containerized the existing workload by migrating them to AWS ECS as the first DevOps engineer, wrote Terraform code to provision the whole stack for customers, controlled and executed the deployment for overseas clients, and actively debugged production issues. Vishnu holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He is well-versed in SRE, AWS, DevOps, infra, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Javascript, Jenkins, ECS, Terraform, Python, Golang, Frontend, CI/CD, MongoDB, and Backend. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Vishnu is capable of handling complex projects and delivering high-quality solutions.
