Vishva Patel is a self-driven and passionate software engineer with solid fundamentals in Computer Science. With a quick learning ability and a curious mind, he loves to solve complex, ambiguous real-world problems by developing scalable software. Currently working as an Associate Software Engineer at Navis, he is responsible for building a digital maritime container terminal that allows users to emulate real-time operations of container terminals. Vishva has experience writing production code using technologies including but not limited to Java, Spring boot, JPA, Postgres, REST APIs, JUnit5, EasyMock, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins. He actively participates in designing and implementing features by writing clean code with test coverage, reviewing code, and sharing knowledge with his team members. He is also responsible for Dockerizing projects, setting up CICD pipelines, and deployment processes for containerized projects. Vishva has mentored interns during onboarding and internship and has experience working as an Associate Software Engineer - Intern at Navis and as a Machine Learning Intern at Factentry. At Factentry, he developed natural language processing models using Python to extract required features from financial bonds files efficiently. Vishva holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, where he gained strong coding skills and a solid foundation in Computer Science. He is proficient in Software Engineering, Docker, Spring Boot, Spring, Jenkins, Postgres, Java, ML, and NLP.
