Vishwajeet Vatharkar is an accomplished Engineering Manager and Full-Stack Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in frontend engineering for the web and focuses on the usability and experience of the software. Vishwajeet is a people person who builds relationships to understand their problems and provide the right solutions. As an Engineering Manager, Vishwajeet has worked with engineers to deliver software solutions, conduct performance management and promotions, retain and hire engineers, and built teams who can create solutions from scratch and then scale. He is currently working in the Agri-tech domain to build products for the next generation of farming. Vishwajeet has built an e-learning solution for farmers, a customer loyalty program, and an e-commerce-based retailer web app as part of his journey. Vishwajeet has worked extensively in the media/entertainment domain, acquiring an in-depth knowledge of "Content", including engineering, management, and operational flow of content for OTT platforms. Before media, he worked in legal and governance domains to build immigration case management systems and participatory budgeting software for local governance bodies (open source). For the web frontend, Vishwajeet has extensively used ReactJS, AngularJS, and JavaScript / ES6, along with semantic and accessible HTML and CSS. He applies Material Design guidelines for the front end. For backend systems, he has been using NodeJS with NestJS, SailsJS, and Laravel, with MongoDB and MySQL databases, and with Redis for queue management. He has also used the Firebase platform for quickly building solutions. Vishwajeet has open-sourced a lot of his software built as a hobby or public utility, which can be found on GitHub. He has extensively written on Quora and a personal blog on software engineering practices and improving efficiency. Ultimately, he intends to make this world a happier place with his work.
