Vishwaraj Anand is an accomplished Engineer at Google, specializing in PHP and working in the Developer Relations Engineering team. With over 8.87 years of relevant experience, he has developed a wide range of software, including cloud-based backends, data analytics systems, data warehousing, software monitoring systems, and microservices. Before joining Google, Vishwaraj worked for Facebook as a Solutions Engineer, where he built parts of Facebook Messenger Conversational Ads and developed new ads products for corporate media buyers at a billion-user scale. He was also responsible for influencing the engineering roadmap for Facebook Ads platform and researching and developing innovative ideas for effective ads delivery. Prior to Facebook, Vishwaraj worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Works Applications Co., Ltd., where he was responsible for data analytics of production issues and predicting downtime from monitoring systems. He also handled monitoring tools for microservices based on Zabbix, Grafana, Logstash, and Prometheus, managed AWS deployments through Ansible and Jenkins, and built reporting dashboards for costs reporting of deployments using HTML and JS. Vishwaraj has a Master's degree in Information Systems from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Patna.
