Vishwas Bhadsavle is an accomplished technology executive with over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. Currently, he is serving as the India Head of FX and Rates IT at Nomura, where he is responsible for leading the development of voice and electronic trade capture systems across various cash, derivatives, and structured products in FX and Rates that are used globally. As an Executive Director in Global Markets IT, Vishwas has been instrumental in driving technology innovation and digital transformation within Nomura. Prior to joining Nomura, Vishwas worked at MSCI Inc. where he served as the Global Co-Head of Data Management IT. In this role, he led a team that developed solutions for making quality data available for index computation and portfolio analytics across equities, fixed income, commodities, and real estate. Before MSCI, Vishwas worked at Citigroup where he developed various systems across Corporate, Investment Banking, and Wealth Management. He also worked in Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities (FICC) trading platform development for Citigroup. Vishwas has also managed large engagements of product implementations for key customers including JPMC. Vishwas holds a degree in Strategy and Leadership in Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous World from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He also holds a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in Science from V.G. Vaze College and a Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir. With his extensive experience in the financial services industry, Vishwas has developed a deep understanding of the complex challenges facing the industry and has a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions that drive business growth.
