Vishwas Pai is a self-taught NLP Engineer with a passion for exploring the potential of deep learning and applying it to real-world problems. With 3.86 years of relevant experience, he has a patent in Task-Specific Text Generation Pipeline. He is currently working as a Senior NLP Engineer at Emplay Inc. where he is responsible for developing NLP pipelines, building conversation flows, and designing NLU engines using Dialogflow and Luis to jump any flow based on user query using intent and entities. In his previous role as an Associate NLP Engineer at Emplay, Vishwas built an end-to-end pipeline that takes domain-specific data and fine-tunes the word embedding. He also built an end-to-end pipeline that takes domain-specific data and creates sen2vec, which will be indexed to Faiss and used for semantic search. He has experience in Solr Search and Indexing and built a keyword search and large data indexer API. He has also built rule-based entity extraction, which is mainly used to tag and index the data for search. Vishwas has developed two methods of question generation from context and has developed a framework that generates MCQ, sentences, and Yes/No type questions for any domain-specific data. One of the solutions is in patent pending. He has also built a Text classifier pipeline that was used for post-processing and for a content tag for some of the NLP pipeline he developed. Additionally, he has built QA pipeline which for given product PDF or any text and given a question returns possible answer span from the text. Vishwas holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Programming from Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore. He has experience in NLP, Search, NLU, Deep Learning, Tensorflow, Python, ML, Pytorch, QA, Research Scientist, AI, Elastic Search, and Keras. He is passionate about predictions using data and applies it in real life wherever he can. He loves whatever he does and is always exploring new potentials in the field of NLP and deep learning.
