Vishwas Sundaramurthy is a Technical Program Director at Mavenir, specializing in O-RAN 3rd party Radio Integration. With over 22 years of experience in the wireless telecom industry, Vishwas is an expert in 5G Open-RAN, Radio integration, Tech strategy, Prog management, Semiconductors, Modems, Avionics, RF transceiver firmware, FPGA, PHY architecture / prototyping, IP cores, signal processing and systems engineering. Prior to joining Mavenir, Vishwas worked as a Sr. Advanced System Engineer at Honeywell, where he focused on Aerospace System Engineering for Avionics LRUs, including Integrated Multi-Mode Radio (IMMR), Single Antenna Radar Altimeter (SARA), UAM (Urban Air Mobility) technology evolution, Industrial 5G, RF-FPGA integration, and Baseband for Wireless Avionics Intra Communication (WAIC), and Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD). He also served as a Sr Staff Engineer/Mgr at Qualcomm, where he developed RF SW drivers in Qualcomm multi-mode Modem stack, optimized RF cards for performance and standard conformance, and participated in Feature development, Log analysis, stability debug, and RF performance. Vishwas holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Surathkal, and a Master of Business Administration from IIM, with a Post Graduate Program in Enterprise Management. With his vast experience in the wireless telecom industry, Vishwas has become an expert in Integration and Software Engineering. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt and has an exceptional track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
