Vishwesh Rege is a skilled software engineer currently working at Microsoft as a Software Engineer II. With over 6 years of relevant experience, he has a diverse background in the computing stack, including VLSI design, architectures, computer networks, machine learning, and optimization algorithms for solving challenging real-world problems. Vishwesh holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California San Diego, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. Previously, he completed his Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani. During his academic journey, he has worked on research projects and published four papers in peer-reviewed technical conferences/journals. As a software engineer, Vishwesh has worked with top-notch companies such as Qualcomm, where he served as a Software Engineer, and the University of California San Diego, where he was a Teaching Assistant in the Wireless Embedded Systems Program. He has also been involved in various research projects, including building intelligent systems and developing algorithms for sensing, robotics, distributed, and mobile applications.
