Viswanath YS is a Principal Software Engineer at Citrix, with over 17 years of experience in working on TCP/IP stack, Networking protocols, and Network Security related projects. He has exposure to working on cloud, distributed architecture with n-core, cluster, and HA support. Currently, he is working on "Cloud Native Networking" products built around Kubernetes, including "Citrix Ingress Controller." Viswanath has hands-on experience in requirement analysis [SRS], low-level design, and UML diagrams (Usecase, Class, and Sequence Diagrams). He has worked in AGILE and Waterfall methodologies and handled E2E (End to End) responsibilities, right from requirement gathering, requirement analysis, design, coding, UT (Unit Testing), IT (Integration testing), till the release of the final stable product. In his previous role as a Technical Project Leader at Huawei, Viswanath led the team with design and implementation of IPSec on Distributed Architecture with n-core and Cluster support along with HA (High Availability) for NG-BTS (Next Generation Base Transceiver Station). He also worked on TRP (Technical Research Project) for prototype development of distributed TCP/IP stack on RPU (Routing Processing Unit) boards with n-core and Cluster support along with HA (High Availability) for NG-BTS (Next Generation Base Transceiver Station) in Shenzhen (Huawei HQ). Viswanath has experience in working on protocols like - EDT with NGS on cloud, IPSec, IKE, SSH, SFTP, EAPOL, CMP, PKI, RDP proxy, IPSec-Alg, PCoIP proxy, etc. He has worked on platforms like Windows, freeBSD, SuSE Linux, United Linux, Solaris, IBM AIX, HP UX & VxWorks. He has used tools like MSVC 6.0, 7.0, 7.1 & 8.0, gcc, gdb, Rational Pure Coverage, lcov, Rational Purify, Valgrind, Path Coverage (Bulls Eye Coverage), Rational Rose, PC Lint, coverity, KLOC Works, v-tune, etc. Viswanath has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from sjce, mysore.
