Viswaprasath Ks is a Member of Technical Staff at Zoho Corporation, with a passion for Developer Experience & Developer Advocacy. He is also a Mozilla Reps member from India, having started a small region community named MozillaTN which has grown into a large community of contributors contributing to various functional areas of Mozilla. Viswaprasath is currently focused on helping developers to bring their Cross Browser Customization using Extensions, having created video tutorials and detailed blog posts on simple fun-based WebExtension development. He loves programming and is particularly interested in backend development. He also enjoys blogging about programming and current trending technologies. At Zoho Corporation, Viswaprasath works as an API developer for internal tools. His responsibilities include road map designing, system architecture designing, mentoring junior developers, integrating payment gateways, developing REST API's for internal consumption, and developing build automation tools to reduce deployment time and manual intervention. Prior to joining Zoho, Viswaprasath worked as a Mobile Application Developer intern at Blackberry, where he developed mobile applications using HTML5 technologies for the Blackberry 10 Operating System. The main aim of these applications was to enable mobile users to learn and enhance their aptitude skills in a short time. Viswaprasath has also been a Mozilla Representative (Volunteer) and a Technical Writer at Mozilla Developer Network. As a Mozilla Rep, he evangelized about cross-browser WebExtensions development, was a Senior Firefox OS Mobile Application reviewer, and was a Student Working Group E-board Member for the App of the Month Contest. Viswaprasath holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Anna University and completed his 12th Grade in Mathematics and Computer Science at Sri Sarada Balamadhir Boys Matriculation, Salem. His tech stack includes software engineering, backend development, mobile development, and testing. He has accumulated 9.03 years of relevant experience in his field.
