Vitor Freitas is a highly skilled and passionate software developer with a focus on web development using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Oulu's department of Information Processing Science, M3S research unit. Vitor is also the CTO and Co-Founder of Eskolare, a company that provides mentorship for the Software Engineering Career Track. With over 2 years of relevant experience, Vitor has worked with several companies, including Eskolare and Springboard, as a mentor and software engineer. At Eskolare, he was responsible for developing the backend of the company's Marketplace APIs using Python 3, Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, and Serverless Framework. Vitor's expertise in infrastructure running fully on AWS, powered by AWS Lambda and Amazon Aurora, was instrumental in developing Eskolare's tech stack. Vitor holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information Systems from Faculdade Metodista Granbery. His education and experience have equipped him with the skills necessary to excel in his field.
