Viv Paranjape is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience. She is currently working as a Software Engineer at YouGov Chat (formerly Inconvo), a chat-based consumer engagement and market research start-up. In her current role, she has built and led an agile scrum team and helped construct a platform that can engage large audiences through chat technology. Viv is passionate about finding simple ways to solve complicated problems, and this has been the driving force behind her work at YouGov. Prior to joining YouGov, Viv worked as a Developer (Web & Quantitive) at Redington Ltd, where she built financial systems architecture and spearheaded technical projects & teams that resulted in cost savings and paved the way to winning new clients in the FinTech SaaS space. She also worked as a Software Engineer at Currys Plc, where she was part of an Agile SCRUM team that built and maintained the Energy Comparison Platform, which served over 150,000 users. Viv was fortunate to be able to work across the whole technical ecosystem, from mobile apps to the core engine. The flagship of the energy platform was Voltz mobile app, the first energy switching companion app in the UK. Viv holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick. Her education background, coupled with her experience as a Research Scientist, has equipped her with a solid foundation in problem-solving and analytical skills. Viv's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Research Science, Web, and Mobile.
