Vivek Reddy is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 2 years of experience in the industry. He is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York, Buffalo. Vivek has a strong academic background, having completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani. Vivek has worked with some of the leading companies in the industry, including Publicis Sapient and Reliance Jio. At Publicis Sapient, he worked as a Senior Associate and was responsible for developing scalable notification systems for bank and e-commerce websites. He also built an in-house open banking application and a cross-platform app for voice platforms like Alexa and Google Assistant. Vivek played a key role in moving bank operations from on-premises legacy infrastructure to a redesigned infrastructure on Google Cloud. He also developed a dataflow pipeline in Java using Apache Beam SDK from Pub/Sub to Spanner and Spanner to Cloud Storage for testing Spanner read/write performance. During his internship at Reliance Jio, Vivek worked on the development of a Fishery Forecast Application and a Reliance Foundation Application. He improved the efficiency of the response time of the backend application to less than 1s from 3s by writing a parsing script with O(n) complexity for the XML scripts that are published on the FTP server by Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services. Currently, Vivek is working as a Software Engineer Intern at Walmart and is seeking Summer 2022 Internship opportunities in Software Engineering Roles. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in technologies such as Kafka, infra, test, Redis, ETL, Java, AI, MongoDB, Microservices, and Android.
