Vivek Dogra is a highly skilled Senior Network and Security Engineer with over 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and integrating complex cloud projects. He has end-to-end responsibility for cloud projects that include emerging technologies and multiple vendors. Vivek has strong command over Python and has experience in consulting and delivering Azure and AWS. He has migrated existing on-prem infrastructure to the public cloud and has configured and installed firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, F5 & Fortinet, Palo Alto) on-prem as well as on cloud. Currently, Vivek works as a Senior Network Security Engineer at Rackspace where he has designed, developed, and deployed complex solutions around Datacenter, Security, and Emerging Technologies. He has experience in consulting and delivering on Checkpoint Firewalls, Fortinet Firewall, Cisco ASA Firewall, Fortigate firewall, Juniper SRX, and F5 Load Balancers. Vivek has worked with global customers and delivered complex security solutions, supported & designed migration plans, and up-gradation plans for Network & Security Infrastructure. He has also handled escalated projects from L1/L2 engineers and managed and troubleshooted complex multi-vendor networks. In his previous role as a Senior Network and Security Engineer at Navisite, Vivek was responsible for providing the best cloud solutions to the customer. He designed, implemented, and integrated cloud projects from conception through to production, worked with global customers, and delivered complex cloud solutions. Vivek also provided suggestions and recommendations based on best practices across the industry. Vivek holds a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from BITS. His tech stack includes AWS, infra, Azure, Integration, and Python. Vivek has a proven track record of delivering complex cloud and network security projects and providing L3 support & troubleshooting for existing customers & for the projects which are under implementation.
