Vivek Kumar Shukla is a Technical Specialist at Brillio with over 8 years of experience in design and development of web and Android applications. He has a strong foundation in Agile methodology and has worked on both Kanban and Scrum. Vivek is a skilled programmer with expertise in data structures, algorithms, OO design, and writing modular code. He has hands-on experience in ReactJs, Ruby on Rails, NodeJs, and Core Java, and follows best coding practices. Vivek is actively involved in code-review, refactoring, and spreading awareness of good practices in writing code. He has good knowledge of cloud resources like AWS, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, and Cloudwatch. Vivek is also proficient in Splunk, NewRelic, and Jenkins. At Brillio, Vivek leads a team of 6 members and has developed good leadership qualities. He takes care of production deployments and infra management, and proactively coordinates cross-teams to gather all the requirements for the team. Vivek has extensive knowledge of all Agile Scrum practices and has worked on a project mainly based on NodeJs and Lambda functions. For logs, they used Splunk and Cloudwatch. Vivek is currently working on a real estate web application based on ReactJs as the frontend and NodeJs as the backend. Prior to Brillio, Vivek worked as a Senior Product Developer at Mubble - Decoding Tier-2 India. He has complete knowledge about the Google cloud framework and implemented autoscaling in server instance group. Vivek is also experienced in deploying App Engine for pulling data from pub-sub and writing those into BigQuery. As the Mubble prepaid app team lead, he successfully led multiple releases of the app and worked on increasing team potential as a whole with better development processes and in-depth code reviews. Vivek holds a B.Tech degree in Information Technology from IIIT, with relevant experience of 9.36 years. His tech stack includes web, ECS, New Relic, Ruby, Jenkins, AWS, NodeJS, CI/CD, frontend, backend, infra, and software engineering.
