Vivek Kumar Singh is a passionate leader with over 18 years of experience in building and maintaining concurrent, low latency, and high throughput applications. He is currently the VP of Engineering at PharmEasy, one of the leading e-pharmacies in India. In this role, Vivek is leading the Supply Chain Engineering team, which has played a pivotal role in the company's success. He is currently involved in building the next set of tools to power varying complex use cases for all entities in the Pharma supply chain. Vivek has extensive experience in e-commerce, rides, and information security domains. Before joining PharmEasy, Vivek was the AVP of Engineering at PharmEasy, where he led the development of several key applications. Prior to that, he was the Associate Director of Engineering at Myntra, where he led the Partner Experience charter for Myntra and Jabong using a set of multi-tenant applications. Vivek is focused on building engineering teams that are self-reliant and adopt the best engineering practices. He is an expert in improving engineering practices in the team, including code reviews, issue tracking, deployment docs, and test automation. Vivek is also responsible for upgrading the current tech stack and improving monitoring and alerting. Vivek has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from PES College of Engineering, Mandya. He is skilled in several technologies, including Redis, MySQL, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spring Boot, Spring, Web, Java, and Kotlin. Vivek is a senior software engineer and SDET with relevant experience of 18.53 years.
