He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and has worked with startups at different stages, building multiple products and managing teams. In 2020, Vivek founded Zelish, a smart kitchen manager that helps users plan, cook, and source ingredients with ease. The platform was acquired by Tinychef in 2021, where Vivek currently serves as the Technical Lead. Tinychef is a Canada-based company that aims to help families and friends explore recipes, enjoy cooking together, and prepare meals perfectly every time. Prior to Zelish, Vivek worked as a Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at MyGate, where he was responsible for improving the product and adding new features. He worked on Smart Eye, Validated Entries, KSP Clear Pass, and a few other projects that ensured smooth and secure deliveries for the entire community.
