Vivek Arora is a Senior in Computer Science at BITS Pilani K. K. Birla Goa Campus with a passion for working on challenging problems and projects that have a real impact on people's everyday lives. He has gained a variety of experience within different computer science domains, from working on various projects to working as a Product Intern at AlmaConnect. Vivek has volunteered to work as a Front End developer with Abhigyaan, which gave him great insight into Web Development. Most of his other experience comes from working on self projects. He has a strong background in Software Engineering, Frontend, and Web development. Currently, Vivek is working as a Software Engineer Intern at Resolvity, Inc. He has also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he led an external Lab to supplement theoretical learning in the Database Systems course. He also assisted in the making of Lab Questionnaires and Study Materials and received a certificate of Excellence for Practical Tutorials teaching MySQL and Relational Databases to a class of over 200 students. As a Product Intern at AlmaConnect, Vivek set up a personalized user invite system which increased sign-ups by 30 per cent. He also performed End-User testing to ensure smooth operations of Critical components and worked on the design of the "Job Status" feature on the portal enabling users to get updates about their applications. Apart from his technical skills, Vivek loves playing Squash and Cooking, and of course, that entails Eating too. He has completed his Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and is expected to graduate in December 2022. With relevant experience of 0.78 years, Vivek has a strong foundation in Software Engineering, Frontend, and Web development, and is always eager to take on new challenges.
