Vivek is an experienced Chief Technology Officer with a strong background in computer software industry. He is a skilled professional in Backend, Mobile Applications, Web development, Game Engine, Image Processing, and Machine learning. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Currently, Vivek is working as an Engineering Manager at Rivigo, where he has built the backend for a unified logistics platform that has improved business scale and unlocked 100M USD MRR. He has also introduced Grafana, Prometheus, and Kibana for real-time centralized monitoring of more than 300 servers, resulting in 5x speed up in production issues resolution. Additionally, he has created a highly modular and generic Docs Service to handle documents generation across all Rivigo products. Prior to his current role, Vivek worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Rivigo, where he delivered multiple systems in 6 months, including fraud detection, organization structure, demand suggestions, live tracking of goods and order, automated e-waybill/LR/EPOD linking. He also digitalized the trucking eco-system by creating an online, self-help ecosystem for all customers in the logistics industry. Before joining Rivigo, Vivek worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon, where he engineered and maintained Replay Service and Backend for Financial Data Integration Services. The platform enables applications to send data to OFA in a reliable manner, and he owned the following services: Monetary Integration Platform, Vendor Payments Payment Service, External Party Integration, and OFA Messaging Framework. Overall, Vivek has 7.21 years of relevant experience and is skilled in AWS, Integration, Software Engineering, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Javascript, ML, MySQL, Mobile, Java, Android, Redis, and more.
