Vivek Chhikara is an accomplished Engineering Leader with over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. He is a Cloud Enthusiast and SRE engineer who has proven expertise in Automation, Build/Release Engineering, Software development, DevOps development, program and incident management in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing platform. He is an SME in a variety of open-source technologies, scripting languages, and tools including Infrastructure-as-code, Perl, Python, Bash, Hypervisor, VM, Flask, MongoDB, and Ansible. Throughout his career, Vivek has gained a strong reputation for collaborating with cross-functional technical leaders to define best-in-class frameworks and interfaces to rapidly implement customer solutions in compliance with agreed standards. His experience in implementing scrum/agile development methodologies, DevOps, and operational procedures, and team-building capabilities have been very important to the organization in creating and delivering future-proof impactful solutions. Currently, Vivek is an Associate Partner at Protium Finance, where he is responsible for delivering cloud-based services that businesses highly rely on. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director, Engineering at Protium, where he was on a mission to make money available to emerging enterprises at ease, contributing to the growth of India. Before joining Protium, Vivek was a Cloud Architect (VP) at Goldman Sachs, where he played a vital role in delivering IT solutions for Cross AWS Account Operations and spearheading Program Management (Product & Solutions) & Governance. He made high-level design choices for the software structure, frameworks, protocols, and provided critical subject matter expert guidance around data migration, process time reduction, SRE technology, E2E Solution Architecture, and others. Vivek holds a Bachelor of Engg degree in Electronics and Communication from Maharshi Dayanand University. He is proficient in AWS, DevOps, SRE, Ansible, Python, MongoDB, Flask, Web, Software Engineer, infra, and Senior Software Engineer. He is hopeful to share acquired expertise and IT skills with team aspirants and communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with customers to deliver cloud-based services.
