Vivek Gidmare is a self-motivated and dedicated Android developer with over 6 years of experience in building quality mobile apps. He is passionate about UI/UX design and enjoys experimenting with various tech-related projects. Currently working as an Android developer at Apna, Vivek is interested in team building and helping others. He strives to improve each day by learning new things about people, tech, and health. Vivek's past experience includes working at MoneyTap as a Tech Lead and Lead Software Engineer. During his tenure, he made some architectural decisions that turned out to be successful, while others failed, but he learned more about what not to do. He launched a new product in a new country (Vietnam) for a new set of customers, built an app from scratch, and still maintains 99.95%+ crash-free users along with 4.7 ratings on Playstore. Vivek also led a team of 3 mobile engineers to deliver product features on time on both Android and iOS apps. He helped grow the mobile team from 2 developers to 6 developers and introduced MoneyTap app to Kotlin world and designed strategy about implementation and integration. He also built a CI/CD pipeline for mobile apps to do code quality checks, run tests, and build APK. Vivek introduced a cross-code review culture in the mobile app team where everyone reviews everyone's code. Vivek completed his BE in Computer Science from Nagpur University in 2011 and holds a degree in H.S.C and S.S.C from the State Board Maharashtra. His tech stack includes Android, Mobile, UI, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, CI/CD, iOS, and Integration. With 11.20 years of relevant experience, Vivek is a skilled Android developer with a passion for UI/UX design and a drive to learn and grow. In his free time, he loves to go on bike rides and explore new places.
