Vivek has over 5 years of relevant experience in the hospital and healthcare industry, where he has worked on creating stream processing services using Apache Kafka, Avro, and a NoSQL Cassandra database. He has also worked on Java applications using modern software engineering principles such as CI/CD, Docker containers, and microservices. Additionally, Vivek has enabled the migration of business configuration between environments in a Java application. In his previous role as a Software Engineer at UnitedHealth, Vivek developed a Python script to validate the deployments of streaming apps by validating the Kafka topics and environment variables of Jenkins. He also developed a Python script for having the ability to flush the data from Kafka and Cassandra at times of db refreshes.
