Vivek Jain is a Senior Consultant at PwC India with almost 5 years of experience in the Data and Analytics practice. He is a post-graduate from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) and has worked across industries like textile, retail, media, and telecom. At PwC India, Vivek has gained expertise in reporting and analytics and has worked on developing Data Visualization MIS for a textile group and steel major in Bangladesh. He has experience in understanding the requirements of various business users, identifying and finalizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), data requirements, and reporting structure for dashboards. He has also worked with complex data sets and extracted the desired data for analysis and visualization. Vivek has a talent for translating data into actionable insights for various stakeholders involved. Vivek has also been involved in pre-sales activities like proposal writing after analyzing the RFPs, client business, and suggesting technological solutions to solve client issues. He has also been involved in data analysis using statistical methods to develop appropriate data models to generate insights out of the data. Prior to PwC India, Vivek had a summer internship at Trip Exploria, where he negotiated with hotels, cab providers, and travel consultants to work with the company. He also formulated a client acquisition strategy and devised a social media strategy to gain visibility in the market. Vivek completed his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Xavier Institute of Management in 2017 and his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Software Engineering from VIT in 2013. Overall, he has 6.87 years of relevant experience. Vivek is a former Student Coordinator of XIMB Alumni Committee.
