Vivek Joshi is a seasoned business leader with over 20 years of international multifunctional work experience in Manufacturing & Services, including Business Management, Innovation Management, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management. He is currently an Independent Director at siro clinpharm pvt ltd, a full-service CRO with businesses in ClinOps, Data Management, Medical Writing, and Clinical Trials Supply Management. Vivek is also a Director on the Board of several companies across sectors like Industrials, Healthcare, and Consumer goods. He guides the business and corporate strategies of companies in the portfolio of a Private Equity and manages the investments up to making exits. He engages deeply with portfolio companies and guides them on follow-on funding, growth strategies, and organization design. Prior to Private Equity, Vivek worked with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. in various functions and locations. He has also worked in the USA for a number of years in Consulting and was an expert in remediation and process technology. Vivek was a licensed Chemical Engineer in California and has worked in specialty and large-scale manufacturing companies in Florida and California. Vivek is a Chemical Engineering graduate of Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, followed by a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the USA. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Guest Faculty and invited speaker on Strategy, Business Plans, and Private Equity at various forums. Apart from his professional career, Vivek has a keen interest in Yoga and geopolitical studies. His specialties include Strategy, Private Equity, Supply Chain, and Innovation. He has also served as an Independent Director at novalead pharma pvt. ltd., a new chemicals & drug discovery company focused on repositioning existing drugs as novel patent-protected therapeutic products employing proprietary software products, and dynaspede integrated systems pvt ltd, a specialist in Mechatronics, Design, Manufacture, and Service of electromechanical components and machines used in Defense, Automotive, and other industries. Vivek completed his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, followed by an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida. He also holds a Post Graduate Program in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
