Vivek Kumar Maurya is an Associate Software Engineer at Freecharge with a passion for problem-solving and building high-quality products. He is a highly motivated and capable individual with a strong background in Information Technology and proficiency in Java core. Vivek has completed several projects throughout his career and is currently responsible for participating in the SDLC of four projects at Freecharge. He has taken ownership of the FHS and FRS projects and re-architected features, refactored code, developed new features, and optimized existing features. He has also fixed bugs in the File handler service project, which is used by more than 90 microservices in Freecharge. In addition to his work on the FHS and FRS projects, Vivek has also migrated from EC2 to EKS env and automated the process of onboarding rate card details from S3 to the database. He has also onboarded the automation of more than 15 auditing reports in the Finance reporting service project. Vivek has developed features and integrated the Workflow management framework in Load money service, which is a part of the Rentals product of Freecharge. Vivek has contributed to unit test cases in four microservices with code coverage of more than 75% from scratch. He has also contributed to writing technical documentation of various APIs and features. Prior to his current role, Vivek worked as a Technical Intern at Freecharge, where he wrote technology documentation of the CWR project and unit test cases covering various scenarios in the multi-threaded Workflow Management Framework. Vivek holds a B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ghaziabad. He also completed his 12th from Kendriya Vidyalaya Airforce Station Barnala, Punjab. Vivek's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Microservices, AWS, Java, Spring, MySQL, Spring Boot, Redis, Backend, Kubernetes, and Redux. With 3.19 years of relevant experience, Vivek is a valuable asset to any team.
