Vivek Kumar is an experienced Embedded Software Test Engineer currently working with Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Limited in Bangalore. With over four years of experience in software testing, Vivek has a deep understanding of SDLC verification and validation models. His role at Bosch involves software tests for OEMs such as Volvo, Core Asset, Ford, and JLR, among others. He has extensive experience in requirement-based black box testing and automation testing of passive safety systems in the embedded domain. Vivek's responsibilities at Bosch include requirement reviews, creating test plans from requirement specs, designing test cases using test design techniques, defect logging and tracking, analysis of test reports, and working on functionalities like CAN, Diagnostics, Switch Management, EDR, and more. He also has knowledge of CAN, LIN, Flexray, and UDS protocols. Prior to his current role, Vivek worked at speechwarenet (i) private ltimited as a Research Engineer. There, he was responsible for research related to speech data collecting, processing, labeling, and transcription in different languages. He also developed a Phoneme Recognition System for Hindi and Indian English languages, worked on the improvement of accuracy for the Hindi Keyword Spotting System, and contributed to the development of a Phonetic Engine. Vivek holds an Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He also completed his Senior Secondary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya and his Higher Secondary education at Holy Mission High School. With over eight years of relevant experience and expertise in test, SDET, and research scientist roles, Vivek is a valuable asset to any organization he works with.
