Vivek Kumar is a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Expensify with a strong background in Data Structures and Algorithms. He has experience in system design and building full-stack applications from scratch. Vivek is eager to learn and explore database development, React-Native, and Linux. Prior to joining Expensify, Vivek worked as a Data Structures and Algorithms Instructor at McLaren College. During his time there, he led the Data Structures and Algorithms course, where he implemented various data structures and algorithms from scratch and solved over 250+ challenges related to them. At the end of the course, students had a good hold over various DSA concepts and were comfortable solving medium difficulty level challenges from Leetcode in a span of just 3 months. This batch had the highest number of students passing through the course and getting into the MERN stack course. Vivek has also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Remedico, where he implemented the OTP authentication flow for both mobile and web login. He added A/B testing for learning about UX related to OTP login flow and added referral program support for users, which eventually helped Remedico acquire more new signups and increase engagement on various social media platforms. Vivek holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Agartala. He also completed high school from IES Public School and Rani Public School. Vivek's tech stack includes Software Engineering, React Native, Test, Mobile, and Web. He has relevant experience of 2.19 years in the field of Full-Stack Software Engineering.
