Vivek Kumar is a Senior Software Engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in creating new and/or better systems end-to-end from researching, feasibility, getting stakeholders approval and making it live in productions. He has a passion for enriching human interactions with Machine Learning and has helped professionals worldwide pursue their missions just as he has done. Vivek dropped out of IIT Kharagpur to focus on his IoT startup Intugine, which won the Asia's Rising Star Award 2014 by TiE and Most Innovative Product Award by IESA. He brings this entrepreneurial spirit to his work and has a track record of creating innovative solutions to complex problems. Currently, Vivek is working at phablecare as an MTS, where he is responsible for creating new and/or better systems end-to-end. He has led the entire re-engineering of the existing pipeline, adding 7 sources and 20 sub-sources and reduced the failure cases from 25% to 5%, resulting in improved sales. He has also created a new pipeline adding 3 new destinations and communication triggering capability. Prior to phablecare, Vivek worked at Superpro.ai as a TPM, where he came up with the problem statements and solutions required to achieve a business goal. He introduced gamification elements increasing messages by 6X, user activity per event by 3X, host retention increased from 8% to 17% in a month and audience retention from 10% to 30%. He also designed the UX for the platform letting users, 10+ businesses, create 1-to-1, classroom and webinars offering. Vivek has a strong technical background and is proficient in Search, NodeJS, Javascript, SQL, Backend, UI, ML, Integration, Web, AI, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB. He also co-founded Intugine Technologies, where he spent most of his time on product development and coming up with solutions which are better and have better selling aspects. He researched and wrote a new trilateration algorithm for reducing the location error from 2000 meters to ~40 meters resulting in the creation of a cheaper alternative for GPS trackers bringing the cost down from 1500 to 500 INR only. Vivek holds a degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and B I V 8D.
