With a background in computer engineering, Vivek has built both consumer and enterprise-focused tech products, and has been through 0-1 and 1-100 journeys. Vivek has a proven track record of leading funding for Entrepreneur First, a $158 million global fund portfolio in India. He has built and managed relationships with over 100 VC funds, angel networks, and prominent angels in India and Southeast Asia. He advises portfolio startups on building their core team, product, and business model to build globally important companies. Vivek co-founded a leading startup accelerator in India, where he has helped over 100 startups raise funds and get early customers from global enterprises. He has also worked with SIDBI and other government institutions to launch new initiatives for startups in India. Vivek has worked with the world's leading global enterprises and provided them with tools, processes, and access to top-notch startups to help them get tremendous value out of their corporate innovation programs. He is a sought-after speaker in national and international summits. Vivek's past experience includes being the General Manager of Entrepreneur First India, where he led and managed the EF India team across functions, onboarded outlier individuals in the EF program, and oversaw program execution. He also set up and led the investments function at Entrepreneur First India, owning funding outcomes of 40+ EF portfolio startups in India. Vivek holds a General Management Program for Young Leaders degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University. He is a senior software engineer by trade.
