Vivek M is a Senior Software Engineer with over 5.87 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is a Technological Agnostic who believes that packages, libraries, and technologies are just tools used in the process of solving the problem. He is in love with solving challenges but not true to just one technology. He is a strong engineering professional with a Bachelor’s Degree focused on Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. Currently, Vivek is working as a Tech Lead at Amdocs, leading a team of 6 engineers in the Order Handling Product of Digital Experience Domain (DigitalOne suite). His project/management responsibilities include capacity planning, stakeholder management, mentoring, backlog readiness, work assignment, program increment planning (3 month cycles), sprint and drop planning, risk management, and mitigation. His technical responsibilities include feature scoping, estimation and deadlines, providing technical leadership to the team, low level design, high level design, encouraging team innovation, code reviews, conducting POCs and A/B testing experiments for the product team, and writing code that solves real problems. In the past, Vivek has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Developer in the R&D wing of Order Handling domain of Digital Experience System at Amdocs. He was responsible for low level design, high level solution scrutiny, and POCs. He was also responsible for mentoring the software developers in the team, code reviews, and feature ownership. His everyday work involved interacting and coordinating with the product team and architects to ensure business and technical solutions viability and converting the said requirements to multi-level test covered, clean, and maintainable code with suitable data structures and algorithms. He has worked with distributed systems at scale, writing microservices for distributed Kubernetes clusters with enterprise patterns. Vivek's education history includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and Class 12th and 10th from the Central Board of Secondary Education.
