Vivek Mankar is a skilled Software Engineer at IBM Labs (ISDL) with a passion for developing software applications involving Cloud and AI. He has a strong educational background, having graduated with a nano degree in Machine Learning Engineering and completed various noncredit extracurricular specialization courses in machine learning, which have helped him gain a solid understanding of the basics and mathematics behind ML/DL algorithms. Vivek's expertise in Machine Learning has been recognized by Amazon Web Services (AWS), who awarded him a scholarship in Machine Learning. Additionally, he is currently in the Kaggle 2X expert track, where he has achieved Top 1% in Dataset Experts Track. He is always looking for new and exciting adventures ahead. Prior to joining IBM, Vivek worked as a Remote Subject Matter Expert in ML & DS at HackerEarth. There, he was responsible for checking the feasibility of ML and DL challenges and providing technical consultancies to the clients in the corresponding lead calls. He also facilitated custom backend evaluation for ML & DS questions on the platform and worked on designing an NLP Based Recommender System that can automatically suggest a Hackathon/Hiring challenge format based on the given Job description. Vivek has a strong educational background, having completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. He also completed a Graduate program in Machine Learning Engineering from Udacity and his HSC in General Science, PCMB from Vidya Niketan High School and Junior College. In terms of technical expertise, Vivek is proficient in AWS, ML, AI, Deep Learning, Web, Recommendation system, NLP, test, Python, Backend, and has relevant experience of 0.87 years. He is a highly motivated individual with an innate ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and environments.
