Vivek Mehra is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 24 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. He is the Founder and CEO of ParqEx, a marketplace that allows non-commercial parking owners to rent their underutilized parking spots to drivers on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis. With his leadership, ParqEx has developed Access+ technology that enables owners to grant controlled access to their secured parking spots through the convenience of the ParqEx app. Before founding ParqEx, Vivek served as a Mentor at gener8tor, a GOLD-tier accelerator in the U.S. that invests in five startups and supports their growth through a network of experienced mentors, technologists, corporate partners, angel investors, and venture capitalists. He also founded and served as CEO of Monalarm, a technology start-up that developed a performance monitoring SaaS solution for mobile and web. Vivek was responsible for architecting and developing software, creating storyboards, requirements and project planning documents, developing a technology roadmap, recruiting designers and developers, writing a business plan, setting strategic direction, contracting legal services, forming LLC, and soliciting angel investors. Vivek holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has a strong tech stack in Mobile and Web development. As a visionary leader, Vivek has a proven track record of building successful start-ups from scratch. He has an entrepreneurial mindset, is passionate about innovation, and is always looking for new opportunities to grow his business.
