Vivek Mittal is a seasoned software engineer with over 10 years of experience in mobile and cloud application development. He is highly skilled in both Android and iOS platforms and has an extensive experience in building and delivering high impact applications. He is a strong engineering professional with a Master's Degree in Technology (M. Tech.). Currently, Vivek is working as a Principal Software Engineer at Nuance Communications where he is responsible for developing an SDK that enables any app to have voice-based clinical virtual assistant integration. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Avaya where he developed multiple modules of Avaya Communicator aka Avaya Equinox aka Avaya IX Workplace mobile application for both iOS and Android platforms. He was responsible for VoIP, VVoIP, Session Management, Audio, Call logs, and Advanced Voice related features. He also worked on integrating the said Unified Communication application on Avaya Vantage - an Android-based desk-phone. Vivek also worked as a Software Engineer at Syntel in the past. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies such as Azure, AWS, web services, API, Docker, NodeJS, JavaScript, SIP, VoIP, software architecture & design, hybrid apps, Kotlin, Java, Swift & Objective-C. He is well-versed in agile methodology and has a good understanding of software development life cycle. Vivek has a strong educational background with a Master of Technology in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
