Vivek Pandey is a highly skilled Systems & Controls Professional with a background in Chemical Engineering. He has completed a Dual degree (B.Tech+M.Tech in 5 years) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, with a specialization in Control Systems Engineering and Applied Mathematics. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Vivek is a proficient Research Scientist with expertise in Advanced Process Control, Multivariable Control, Optimisation, Artificial Intelligence, and Multivariate Statistics. He is passionate about working in the fields of Applied Mathematics and is always eager to learn and apply new technologies. Currently, Vivek is working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at IIT Bombay, where he is teaching Advanced Process Control (PG Course). In the past, he has worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching Bayesian State Estimation (PG Course) at IIT Bombay. Vivek has also worked as a Summer Intern at Hiyoshi Corporation, where he completed a theoretical study of the Japanese Technology of water treatment and studied Lake Management, which is strictly monitored by the Japanese Government for pollution control. He designed flowsheets and analyzed control systems by visiting and working on more than 20 water treatment plants. He performed on-site water analyses to determine the extent of water purification, which according to Japanese law must lie in a certain range. Vivek also performed experimental analyses on different water samples collected from India as well as Japan and concluded the advantage of a country-wide water treatment plan on the Japanese Environment. He delivered the final presentation in Kyoto University to Prof. Shimizu’s Research Group. Vivek’s Education History includes a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Bachelor of Technology, Honors (B.Tech Hons.) in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He has also attempted to pursue a Minor in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution. Vivek has a strong Tech Stack and is always looking to expand his knowledge. He is a dedicated and hardworking individual who strives for excellence in everything he does.
