Vivek Pandya is a Compiler Developer with a passion for data structures, algorithms, compilers, and operating systems. He is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, after completing his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Dharmsinh Desai University. With over six years of relevant experience, Vivek has worked as a web developer at Tata Consultancy Services and as a Developer at LLVM, where he contributed to code generation testing improvements and interprocedural register allocation. Vivek is an open-source enthusiast and actively contributes to Drupal with iOS-related apps and frameworks for REST web services for Drupal 8. He started contributing to Drupal with his GSoC 2014 project. He is also an active learner on MOOC platforms such as Coursera and edX, where he takes some of the best courses from the world's best colleges. Currently, Vivek is a Technical (LLVM) Intern at Xilinx, where he has implemented part of MicroBlaze's LLVM backend, including object file generation, configurability features, floating point/shift instruction support, delay slot filler pass, and more. He has also worked as a Student Participant at Google Summer of Code, where he developed an example iOS app that connects to Drupal 8 via REST services and reported some bugs in the Drupal 8 REST module. Vivek's education history includes a Graduate Non-Degree Course through Stanford Center for Professional Development, a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University. He also completed his High School Study in Maths and Physics from Gyanmanjari Vidhyapith. Vivek's technical skills include Web development, iOS development, Backend development, and testing. With his strong technical background and experience, Vivek is a valuable asset to any team working in the fields of data structures, algorithms, compilers, and operating systems.
