Vivek Roy is a highly skilled 3D Vision Research Engineer with a passion for developing cutting-edge technologies that can navigate and map complex indoor environments. He is currently a Graduate Student Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is working on a variety of projects related to computer vision, robotics, and machine learning. Prior to his current role, Vivek served as a Visiting Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, where he was responsible for developing an indoor localization system that could be used to navigate complex indoor environments. He also worked as a Robotics Institute Summer Scholar in 2019, where he collaborated with Dr. Martial Hebert to develop a temporally consistent network for combining detection, segmentation, tracking, and forecasting. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, Vivek has a strong foundation in computer science and a deep understanding of the latest developments in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics. He is also highly skilled in a variety of programming languages and has experience working with a range of different tools and technologies.
