Vivek Seshan is a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead with over 10 years of experience in the software engineering field. He is currently working as an AEM and other Java frameworks architect with Henkel, leading a team of internal and external members for a large digital transformation project comprising three business units globally in order to develop cutting edge solutions for various business needs. Prior to this, he worked with Diconium group in Germany for Volkswagen project, handling everything from analyzing customer requirements, design and architecture to estimations, development with the team, and constant communication with the client. Vivek is an Adobe certified AEM 6 Architect, AEM Certified Expert, and Adobe Certified AEM 6 Developer. He is also an Oracle Certified Java 8 Programmer and a Software Architect for VW. Most of his day consists of working end to end on the Adobe Experience Manager platform, building complex components, writing code, analyzing problems, and innovating new designs. He enjoys thinking of complex algorithms and writing code to solve problems in such a way that the end user gets the best experience possible. He loves interacting with the team members to discuss new features and designs. He is mostly a backend java developer but has worked on the front end and operational side to support the platform, even in production. At Citrix, Vivek is currently a team lead, mentoring and managing a team of developers and QA. He is responsible for coming up with designs for requirements and working with the team to accomplish it. He has worked on several projects such as Project Phoenix, Smart Banner framework, Product Landing Page, Salesforce Integration, and Upgrade to AEM 6.1. He has given training sessions on AEM and built custom workflows with complex process steps for articles and handled ACLs (permissions) for different users and groups. He has also deployed AEM 6.1 on docker as a step towards Continuous Delivery (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI). He built a complex alerting mechanism that would send out unlimited emails to customers based on activities that happen. Vivek has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Govt. Model Engineering College, CUSAT. He also studied Computer Science at Silver Hills School. His tech stack includes Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Java, Research Scientist, Frontend, Backend, and Web.
