Vivek Sharma is a highly analytical and data-driven software developer with a passion for problem-solving. In his current role at IBM, Vivek has been instrumental in developing and delivering a scale and stress test engine using Terraform and automation. He has also built a backend from scratch to gather information about various cloud components to improve visibility and monitoring. Additionally, he is leading the complete infrastructure-wide chaos engineering to make IBM Cloud more reliable and resilient. Prior to joining IBM, Vivek worked with PST Analytics as an SDE in Machine Learning. Here, he worked with time-series data and unsupervised clustering and classification problems. He also ensured end-to-end solutions with 25 seconds sensitivity and 94% macro-precision. Vivek has also worked with Surepass Technologies as a Junior Data Scientist, where he collaborated with the business team to help in product growth leveraging data. Vivek holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology & Management. He is proficient in various technologies, including AWS, SQL, Jenkins, NLP, Scikit, TensorFlow, Pandas, and MySQL. He has experience working with Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, and microservices. He has also worked as a research scientist, working on Word2Vec and deep learning. With 3.12 years of relevant experience, Vivek is a highly skilled professional with a passion for learning and problem-solving.
